For the 100th day of school, we have a "fashion show." About a week before the celebration, directions go home for the project. Students are to decorate a plain t-shirt or hat with 100 items. They fill out a pre-printed index card with the information, to be read during the "show."

Example:

________________ is wearing a ______ hat/shirt decorated with 100 _________________. I _________ 100 ____________ to my hat/shirt. I chose ______________ because ____________________________________.

(fill in with the color of the hat/shirt, the items, how they are attached --glued, pinned...and why they chose those items.)

During our fashion show, we designate a "runway" and have each child do a runway walk and stand up on a stool while a parent volunteer is reading their card.

After the show, we get to count out 100 snacks. We usually put out 11 items, in case of allergies, etc. and the kids choose 10 of them to count out 10 pieces and add to their cup.
